Invisible
In this project I am focusing on foreigners, who arrived during the last recent years to Germany. They are well educated and have completed an integration german course. Actually they should not have a problem to find a good job according to the german government, but the reality looks different for them. Although many have university degrees from their homeland, they are often forced to accept poorer and harder jobs. These types of jobs are usually hardly done by local people. They have to work as carer for the elderly, cleaning staff , kitchen assistants or newspaper deliverer. For the employees of the Federal Agency for Labor, the overqualification of migrant seems to have no relevance. The dream of better life bursts for many.
The main part of my project portraits foreigners at their workplace. They are wor- king on places where they are invisible. I would like to break this invisibility and show the role that their work plays for the functioning of our society.
